My sweet, baby girl.
I was reading back through some of the first letters I wrote to you... thinking about how much more I love you now than I loved you then. I thought it was amazing when you were born- but today when you came walking into my room and exclaimed, "mama!"... my heart almost exploded all over again. You're sleeping 12 hours consistently from about 8:30-8:30. I've got to figure out how to get you to stop wanting my milk... you know when it's time and you walk over, take out your paci and lean into me. Funny kid!
You said your first word at the beginning of the month- our anniversary, actually! You just pointed your perfect little finger and said, "ball" at your little pink beach ball. You definitely know what a ball is too. Any round thing that rolls is "ball". You say "mama" "dada" "mimi"- for milk. You know what your bunny and puppy stuffed animals are and will get them when I ask. You pick up your cup when I ask too! You wave and say "bye bye", blow and give kisses. SO sweet and smart. You're trying to run... still need a little practice with that. There are more than a few bruises all over your body from your frequent, ungraceful moments. You're priceless.
I'm at work now and not feeling so hot...
I still can't believe you're going to be a big sister.
And that I'm going to be a mother of two. It seems so surreal.
But hey, I did turn 24 three days ago... I guess that's old enough, right?
I still feel so much like a kid though...
We're so blessed, baby girl.
I love you. Hope you sleep well tonight!
